Libby

LIBBY is a middle aged, female Staffie mix. She is currently enrolled in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program mostly to see what good food, good companionship and good training can do for her. Her name should be LUCKY LIBBY! Since 2018, she adopted out, came back, went home, came back for a total of 3 tries. The reasons for her return were not out of the ordinary - owner had beginnings of dementia, another family was not home enough, another family already had a dog and that dog didn't like her. Libby patiently worked her way through it, and, this last go round, the shelter contacted us. Libby is a good dog and we're giving her every chance for the great life she deserves. Her inmate handler is the best thing that ever happened to her!
